The following policy applies to all purchases made through our website velorareads.com. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Important: All products sold on this website are digital products (PDF crochet patterns). No physical items will be shipped.

2. Digital Products – No Returns or Exchanges

Due to the instant download nature of digital products, all sales are considered final once the download link has been accessed.

We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for digital products, including but not limited to:

  • Crochet patterns (PDF files)

  • Ebooks

  • Pattern bundles

  • Tutorials and guides

Why? Once a digital file has been downloaded or accessed, it cannot be “returned” or “un-downloaded.” This is standard practice for all digital product sellers.

3. Exceptions – When We Will Issue a Refund

We want you to be happy with your purchase. We will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis under the following circumstances:

✅ Duplicate Purchase

If you accidentally purchased the same pattern twice, contact us within 7 days and we will refund the duplicate purchase.

✅ File Not Received / Download Error

If you did not receive your download link or the file is corrupted, contact us immediately. We will:

  1. Re-send the file to you, or

  2. Issue a full refund if we cannot resolve the issue.

✅ File Does Not Match Description

If the file you received is significantly different from what was described on the product page, contact us within 7 days with details. We will review and may issue a refund.

❌ What We Do NOT Refund

We do not issue refunds for:

  • Change of mind after purchase

  • Not having the required skills to complete the pattern

  • Not having the required materials (yarn, hooks, etc.)

  • Not reading the product description carefully

  • Expecting a physical product (all listings clearly state “digital PDF”)

  • Difficulty understanding the pattern (we are happy to help you troubleshoot instead!)

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund under one of the eligible exceptions above, please contact us at:

  • Your order number

  • The name of the pattern(s) purchased

  • A clear explanation of the issue

  • Screenshots (if applicable)

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2–3 business days.

5. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you file a chargeback or dispute with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to:

  • Provide your payment provider with proof of delivery (download logs, IP address, timestamps)

  • Ban your account from future purchases

  • Pursue legal action if the chargeback is fraudulent

Please contact us first. We are reasonable and will work with you to resolve any issue.

6. Copyright & License

All patterns sold on this website are for personal use only, unless otherwise stated.

You may NOT:

  • Resell, share, or redistribute the PDF files

  • Claim the patterns as your own

  • Sell the patterns in any form

You MAY:

  • Sell finished items made from the patterns (unless the pattern listing says otherwise)

  • Gift finished items to friends and family

Violation of these terms may result in:

  • Account termination

  • Legal action

  • No refund issued
